out? Tidbits is
distributed every Monday by 4:00 p.m. in the South Metro
Area and every Tuesday by 4:00 p.m. in the Aurora Area.
The exception is when a holiday falls on that day; in
these rare instances, the paper is distributed the following

How do I know advertising in
Tidbits will work for me? Tidbits can’t guarantee results. However, Tidbits works well
for many of our current advertisers. The proof is that a number of
our advertisers continue to renew their advertisement contracts year
after year. One advertiser said that Tidbits generated more than
seven times the response he received from other advertising venues.
Another advertiser has advertised in Tidbits for nearly four years,
and she most recently renewed her ad for an entire year for the
third time. While we don’t guarantee results, we can guarantee that
people will see your ad because our readers read Tidbits from cover
to cover. It is not a “flip through” paper. Our readers actually
read the entire paper, including the ads. If you have a product or
service people want, your ad would likely do well in
Tidbits. back to top
Do you charge to create an
ad? No. Tidbits
does not charge set-up fees, ad layout fees, or fees for revisions.
There are no discounts for ads that are already created and sent to
us. back to top
How do your ad prices compare
with other publications? Tidbits advertising is extremely economical. The cost to
advertise in Tidbits is less than one-tenth of one cent per
impression. This is the lowest cost per impression of any other
prominent weekly or monthly paper in the metro area.

What do you charge for color
ads? Due to
increased cost of color printing (4 plates are required for 4-color
printing, as compared to only 1 plate for black & white
printing), color ads are 25% more than the price of black &
white ads. back to top
What discounts do you
offer? We provide a pre-payment disocunt of 5% for a
13-week contract, a 10% discount for a 26-week contract, and a 15%
discount for a 52-week contract.
Our
26-week ads are generally 10% less per week our than 13-week
ads.
Our 52-week ads are generally 25% less than our 13-week
ads. back to top
What is your payment
policy? We require
either full payment (which includes a pre-payment discount) or
month-to-month automatic credit card payments. back to top
What are your
deadlines? We have
two deadlines in order to be in the following week’s edition of
Tidbits. We need to have a contract signed and an ad roughed out and
submitted by Thursday close of business. We’ll get the developed ad
back to you Friday morning for review (via the Internet or on hard
copy) and need to have either approval or changes by Friday at 4:00
p.m. back to top
How often can I change my
ad? You can change
your ad as often as you want; however, we recommend that you don’t
change the ad more than every 3-4 weeks since multiple impressions
of an offer, product or service generate the greatest results.
